ESP Principle

Suppose there is an air movement carrying Pollutants pass through GEP. Large particles are separated by mechanical Pre-filter. Smaller particles like Fume & Oil-mist continue through the ionizer ,will be charged immediately. They will then be trapped by oppositely charged Collector afterward , much like a magnet. Mechanical Post-filter prevents collected Pollutants fall back into the air stream and cause unnecessary contamination.

GEP will collect particles down to 0.01 microns in size. The Removal Efficiency can be up to 99% of airborne impurities that enter the unit.

The Key issue of all electrostatic air cleaners are Face velocity. Removal Efficiency will drop a lot when over the critical value.
